Unresolved Continuity Issues
Character reuse and identities
- The prompt establishes given names and broad character archetypes only. Surnames, family trees, exact personal timelines, and most relationships remain unassigned or unresolved.
- Morrivar is not assigned to an individual WAR character; it remains available as a possible family name or future inter-canon/avatar character.
- Gender is established for the named humans, most Dwarfs, all High Elves, Caldyris, and Saerina. Where no gender was supplied, the character note says unspecified.
- Rehlos (Chosen), Mourgrim (Marauder), Craeven (Magus), and Carsybe (Zealot) become the named core of a larger Raven Host field command after the Raven Host Proving; they are not a fixed four-man party from the beginning. Their origins and biography outside the locked campaign structure remain open.
- The exact WAR event that causes Yurric to take the Slayer oath remains unresolved. His established WoW history is potential adaptation material, not an automatically imported event.
- The exact supernatural basis and limits of Mourgrim’s extraordinary durability remain unresolved. Literal immortality is not established.
WAR and later events
- What date and duration best fit the Age of Reckoning in the late Karl Franz era?
- Which WAR PvE campaign events have clear narrative outcomes, and what is their sequence?
- How does the Age of Reckoning end without either alliance permanently defeating the other?
- Can the campaign be followed by recognizable End Times events while preserving the largest amount of WAR material?
- Which canonical figures’ locations, allegiances, or fates create hard contradictions?
Gameplay representation
- Which RvR advances, keep changes, and city assaults are concrete events in the historical campaign?
- Which ruler battles are one-time narrative events, and which are repeatable mechanics?
- How should quests or instances with contradictory states be reconciled?
Karak Eight Peaks
WAR’s descriptions of Dwarf control may conflict with Belegar’s incomplete reconquest and the Greenskin/Skaven presence. The fortified settlement or garrison explanation is a provisional harmonization, not a settled fact.
Excluded continuity
Storm of Chaos does not belong to this project’s WAR or final WHFB/End Times continuity and is not an event in the chronology.
