Karak Eight Peaks in the Age of Reckoning
Standard WHFB history leaves Karak Eight Peaks contested among Belegar’s Dwarf reconquest, Skarsnik’s Greenskins, and Queek’s Skaven. WAR sometimes describes Dwarf control more securely than that history appears to allow.
PROVISIONAL HARMONIZATION
The Dwarfs had established a substantial fortified settlement or garrison in Dwarf-controlled portions of the complex, potentially including important upper or surface sections, without reconquering the entire ancient karak. Grumlok and Gazbag then destroy or overwhelm that garrison and capture the principal Dwarf-held fortress, producing WAR’s described fall of Karak Eight Peaks.
This preserves Belegar’s broader incomplete reconquest. The exact geography and sequence require source-by-source review.
