Altdorf

Canon Overview

Altdorf is the capital of The Empire and of Reikland, raised where the Reik and Talabec meet. It is the seat of Emperor Karl Franz and one of the greatest cities of the Old World.

The city contains the Imperial Palace, the Great Temple of Sigmar, the Colleges of Magic, the University of Altdorf, crowded districts, river docks, and formidable walls. Government, faith, learning, trade, and intrigue meet beneath its many spires.

Known Connections

Altdorf is the principal seat of Imperial resistance during the Age of Reckoning. The war may reach its walls, but no repeated cycle of conquest and restoration is accepted as literal history.
